At this very moment, my "Countdown to the Grand Opening of Ikea" clock is showing 20 hours and 58 minutes. Utah is finally getting an Ikea. That's right, folks, Salt Lake City is getting cooler by the second!
I’ve always loved living here, and while I've even been a little apprehensive about "big city growth" in our little town, I do enjoy change. While change can sometimes be bittersweet, I like to look on the bright side—like the cute new Ikea barstools I've already picked out!
As you've probably heard, there’s some changes going on around here at CK, too. After 10 wonderful years as editor-in-chief, Tracy White has decided to pursue a new direction in her life and we will miss her like crazy. But as with cities and magazines alike, change is bittersweet, and I'm excited to introduce to you the "sweet" part!
As the new creative editor for CK, I get to work right alongside our amazing new editor-in-chief, Brian Tippetts. Trust me when I tell you that Brian's "cool-ness" factor far surpasses even a brand new Ikea down the street! You’re definately gonna want to stick around to see what’s in store.
